CASE STUDY
The brief given to Spalba was to convert a physical event into virtual event in a week’s time and enhance the essence and audience experience in its fully digital avatar.
This format change came with novel considerations and elements that needed careful thought and event planning.
The main question was: How were we to successfully capture, retain and enhance the essence and objectives of the Raisina Dialogue in a fully digital avatar?
The new facets included:
The Raisina Dialogue is India’s premier conference on geopolitics and geoeconomics committed to addressing the most challenging issues facing the global community.
Every year, leaders in politics, business, media, and civil society converge in New Delhi to discuss the state of the world and explore opportunities for cooperation on a wide range of contemporary matters.
Having in-house capabilities of a production studio, content and creative designing team and video editors allowed us to create without many restrictions. The requirement of a hybrid studio (a cloud space for Raisina Dialogue to operate from) took us to The Oberoi, New Delhi after multiple rounds of recce, it became our home for 7 days. Multiple console rooms, control centres, editing stations were set up to plan the execution of the 24X7 Live show. The Dialogue connected over 200+ Global Leaders across 70+ countries and delivered 60+ power sessions. The team was working 24x7 across 4 days to host the event in real-time. Over 75+ Hours of Remote Live was broadcast globally, all with extra focus to keep the data secure and private.
Key Attendees
Key attendees included Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister, India; Scott Morrisson, Prime Minister, Australia; John Kerry, U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, United States; Paul Kagame, President Rwanda; Mette Frederiksen, Prime Minister, Denmark; Nitin Gadkari, Minister for Road Transport & Highways and the Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, India, Smriti Irani, Minister of Women and Child Development and Minister of Textiles, India; V. What client said about the event
It is rare to find a company that can deliver results without needing micro-management on the part of the organisers. The work ethic of the Spalba team made it a pleasure to work and collaborate with them for the Raisina Dialogue. Team Spalba’s positive disposition and solution-driven attitude were, indeed, very welcome qualities”
