Museums Are Cashing In on NFTs

The collaboration between Unit and the Italian museums follows earlier attempts by other European institutions to get on the NFT bandwagon. Among those are the State Hermitage Museum, in St. Petersburg, Russia, which last September held an auction of NFT replicas of five of its best-known paintings that raised $444,000.

No phygital, no digital, this year’s FDCI x Lakmé Fashion was only physical in Delhi to witness the fashion extravaganza. Opening the FDCI x Lakmé Fashion Week was the exquisite collection “The Enchanted Garden” by internationally renowned, award-winning designer Rahul Mishra at the Italian Embassy, New Delhi.
